We’re looking for a driven and motivated Sales Agent (New Business) to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Instacom allocated verticals. This role focuses on acquiring new clients, expanding market presence, and actively engaging prospects through the Instacom sales process.
This position is located in Gauteng and is a Permanent employment offer.
BASIC DUTIES
  • Identify potential new clients through research, networking, and cold-calling strategies to be introduced to the Instacom services.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including social media, events, and industry forums as well as the servicing of allocated leads trough the Instacom marketing team.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential new clients, understanding their needs and pain points in partnership with the team farmer allocated to the sales agent (new business).
  • Deliver compelling and professional sales pitches and presentations to prospective new clients to demonstrate the value of our products/services within their vertical of business.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, close deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for the client and Instacom.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt strategies accordingly to assist marketing and sales to create strategies to improve Instacom’s competitive edge in the market.
  • Update and manage customer relationship management (CRM) through ZOHO systems, ensuring accurate documentation being administrated as well as capturing of leads and sales activities.
  • Work very with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and campaigns as well as fostering strong collaborative relationships with the sales agent farmer to ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Instacom, such as marketing and product development, to enhance client offerings and address client needs.
MINIMUM SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • NQF4 (Matric)
  • Own vehicle
  • Valid drivers licence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Sales.
  • Proven track record between 5-10 years of success in a sales role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess opportunities and challenges.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
