Instacom is searching for a National Support Assistant Manager located in Pretoria. The incumbent is responsible for handling high-priority customer meetings, calls and queries in supporting customers with technical-related issues. This role will be responsible for providing support to different departments and roles within the company by managing the support processes and infrastructure, assisting the Support Project Coordinator with resolutions to issues and training, and assisting Account Managers with technical/support meetings.
This position is located in Gauteng and is a Permanent employment offer.
BASIC DUTIES
  • Build and maintain exceptional client relations.
  • Maintain positive client relationships throughout any issue resolution.
  • Provide follow-up client satisfaction with clients, as needed.
  • Escalate unresolved client complaints regarding support.
  • Assist with managing field technicians and call-outs of set individuals.
  • Assist with new device and service testing when required.
  • Attend high-level technical meetings with customers.
  • Ensuring the call centre VOIP system is in working order.
  • Monitor call centre Helpdesk tickets. · Monitor Shift Handover tickets.
  • Monitor Handovers from field technicians.
  • Personnel recruitment when needed.
  • Low-level HR queries
  • Monitoring Support as a whole and provide guidance where needed.
  • Department strategising and planning.
  • Weekly and monthly stats for Operational reports.
  • Manage department discipline and effectiveness.
  • Manage new device rollout nationally.
  • Manage and Maintain SLA’s tied to ticket and device setup times.
  • Assist National and Regional Coordinators with Planning.
  • Manage inter-departmental relations and queries.
  • Perform project management for rollouts.
  • Assist the Support Manager with departmental strategic plans.
MINIMUM SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Senior certificate (NQF4) or the equivalent.
  • Previous formal Call Centre training will be beneficial.
  • Previous formal telecommunications training will be beneficial.
  • Previous formal IT training will be beneficial.
  • Previous formal field technician training will be beneficial
  • 1 Years Management experience required.
