We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations and inventory systems across local and international operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock control, efficient distribution processes, inventory accountability, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role also focuses on driving operational excellence and maintaining the financial integrity of inventory across all business units.

BASIC DUTIES

Plan, co-ordinate and oversee all daily warehouse activities.
Ensure efficient warehouse layout and space utilization.
Develop, implement and maintain SOP’s.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Monitor workflow for operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory records and system integrity.
Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes.
Resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
Implement FIFO/FEFO stock rotation and transition away from weighted average.
Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged stock.
Ensure accurate GRVs including full landed cost allocation.
Take full responsibility for stock across all departments and branches.
Oversee WMS/ERP systems.
Prepare inventory reports for Finance.
Analyze stock trends and performance.
Ensure real-time inventory visibility
Supervise warehouse staff and assume responsibility for all staff involved in stock handling, insofar as their duties relate to stock control.
Set performance objectives and reviews.
Manage scheduling and discipline.
Promote safety and accountability culture.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.
